Manassas Christmas Parade Applications Due Soon
 
Manassas, VA (October 4, 2012) – Applications are due soon for this year’s celebratory 67th Annual Greater Manassas Christmas Parade, A Storybook Christmas, sponsored by Northwest Federal Credit Union . Applications for participation are due October 13, 2012, so make sure to get your application in today. The parade will begin promptly at 10:00 am in Manassas on Mathis Avenue, turn left down Sudley Rd, turn right down Centreville Road, turn left to travel down Center Street through Old Town, and finish off at Peabody Street. The Parade will take place on December 1, 2012. 
 
The Greater Manassas Christmas Parade is a large, festive affair that grows each year with the help of local businesses and the community. There is a great need for sponsorship and volunteers to help with the parade. For sponsorship information please notify, Sarah McHugh at 703-361-6599.  Volunteers are needed in all avenues of the parade from costumes to staging to helping with the dispersal of the participants. Please join in the “Merry” activities of the Greater Manassas Christmas Parade and support your local community. For more information about participating or volunteering for the Manassas Christmas Parade, please log on to www.gmchristmasparade.org.
