The Manassas Heritage Railway Festival is a family celebration of the rich railway history that Manassas has to offer. Manassas Junction was the site of both the 1st and 2nd Battles of Manassas during the Civil War and of the nation’s first military railroad. Attractions include a 9 elaborate model railroads; adult stage with live bluegrass and country bands throughout the day; children's stage with both professional entertainers and local talent, Thomas the Tank Engine Kiddie Train, kid's rides and face painting.

Tickets On Sale NOW!
Tickets will be $6.00 (children under 2 years old are free), and are available for purchase at the Visitors Center in the Old Town train depot. The Visitors Center is open 7 days a week from 9am until 5pm. Tickets must be purchased IN PERSON (we are unable to hold tickets or mail them). The Excursion Trains are run on the hour at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. The trip is approximatey 35 minutes. Update - limited tickets are currently available for the 11am train!
Can't get to the Visitor's Center before 5PM?? No problem...tickets are now available at Whimsical Galerie in Old Town on the corner of Main and Center Streets. Whimsical Galerie is open until 6:00pm Monday through Wednesday, until 8:00pm Thursday through Saturday and 5pm on Sunday!
