Music and Arts Ministry Conference

First AME is hosting its 2nd Music and Arts Conference July 11-15th. The them is "Reaching and Releasing Your God-Given Gift. The main facilitator is singer, songwriter and producer, Isaiah D. Thomas who has written music for numerous artists such as Byron Cage, "I Will Bless The Lord" Other workshops will be offered in the area of dance, mime, step and praise and worship. From the imagination of children and young adults from our area schools, artwork representing Our World will fill the gallery. This exhibit is part of the Virginians for the Arts statewide initiative Minds Wide Open – Children in the Arts.
