From the imagination of children and young adults from our area schools, artwork representing Our World will fill the gallery. This exhibit is part of the Virginians for the Arts statewide initiative Minds Wide Open – Children in the Arts.

Fishin' on a Mission VBS 2012, Urban Ministries
Go fishing this summer without poles, bait and other fishing tackle! Even water is optional. “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19, KJV) Jesus wants us to follow the truth of His word and live what we believe. Urban Ministries’ VBS for African-American churches brings your students on a fishing trip with Apostle Paul. Follow Paul’s missionary journeys drawing people to Jesus Christ as recorded in Acts. Each lesson is a learning experience to become the best “fisher” of people.
Bible Reference: KJV. Ages 4 to Adult. Unique Feature: 10 Complete Lessons for use as a 5 day or 10 day program.
